Scummy Bears and Darksiderz return to Bar Sinister for the third year. Dubstep, hard dance, techno, alternative rock, metalcore, and underground club culture collide inside Hollywood’s legendary Saturday night goth institution.

90 MINUTE SET

Chicago producer and DJ VAMPA moves through dubstep, riddim, bass house, and midtempo with gritty sound design, haunting vocals, and an instinct for turning bass music into something cinematic. At Bear Sinister III, she brings that world to Bar Sinister for an intimate 90 minute set that hits at close range.

The co-host of Bear Sinister III, Darksiderz is a staple of North American hard dance, moving between hardstyle and techno with punishing energy, dark alternative atmosphere, and Indigenous-style percussion rooted in his Native American culture.

Los Angeles’ own Love Ghost builds a gothic-romantic world from alternative rock, grunge, emo, and modern hip-hop textures. Their songs make isolation, transformation, and impossible love feel theatrical and raw.

Rapidly gaining momentum as one of alternative music’s most magnetic new voices, singer-songwriter vämpp pulls metalcore and early-2000s emo through 90s grunge and a dark feminine edge. The result feels cinematic, volatile, and painfully intimate.

CYBOY

Cofounder of Malfunction LA and Blind Tiger LA, CYBOY is a dark techno artist and one of the architects of Los Angeles after-hours culture. His “technopunk” sound brings speed, pressure, and confrontation. He knows how to build the room, not just play it.

Dewyuli pairs Darksiderz with Big Chocolate, the producer behind the deathcore project Disfiguring the Goddess. Together, they blend hard dance, extreme metal, and experimental electronic production.

A legend of the Los Angeles goth scene, DJ Tommy Secosky is Bar Sinister’s own “Master of All Trax” and the dark heartbeat of the club. From Saturday nights to Wenzday’s Party, his sets move through goth, industrial, darkwave, alternative, and whatever else the room needs.
