Scummy Bears is committed to providing a website and shopping experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.

This statement applies to the customer facing website at www.scummybears.com.

Our accessibility approach

We work to improve the accessibility of our website and use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our current technical target. Accessibility is an ongoing process.

Our current work includes reviewing keyboard access, focus behavior, page structure, text alternatives, color contrast, forms and error messages, zoom and reflow, and third party services used throughout the shopping experience. We also review new and updated content and features as part of that work.

Need assistance or want to report a barrier?

If you have difficulty accessing any part of our website, completing a purchase, using an account or order feature, or obtaining information, email helpme@scummybears.com. Adding Accessibility to the subject line helps us route your message quickly, but it is not required.

Please include the page address and tell us what you were trying to do. You do not need to identify or describe a disability. If you are comfortable doing so, you may also include the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using. Please do not send sensitive personal or payment information by email.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within one business day. We will review each report and make reasonable efforts to provide product information, order support, or another accessible way to complete the task while we address the issue.

Third party content and services

Some parts of our shopping experience, including certain cart, contact, and marketing features, are provided by third parties. These features remain part of the Scummy Bears customer experience. When a third party feature creates an accessibility barrier, we work with the provider and make reasonable efforts to offer another accessible way to obtain information or complete the task.
